
PAYMENT
TERMS:
50% of the contract amount is collected upon signing of the contract,
and the balance is due upon completion of the job. Any unpaid balances
will incur finance charges additional to the contracted price.
WARRANTY:
B.A.S.S. Hardscapes offers a 2-year warranty that covers workmanship
on brick paver, natural stone work and modular retaining wall installations
only. An extended warranty may be purchased at the time of contract
signing

- Heaving/settling
(high or low spots)
- Separating
of pavers
- Loose pavers
on capped stoops
- Heaved edging
- Warranty
items NOT covered:
- Sand between
the joints
- Grass/weed
growth
- Low spots
due to something other than natural settling
- Separation
of pavers due to something other than natural settling
- Stains
- Fading color
of pavers
REMOVAL
CHARGES:
All quotes for removal assume standard removal operations. Any removal
involving unforeseen work warrants an additional charge above and
beyond the quoted price.
- Examples
of extra work are:
- Wire mesh
or re-bar in concrete
- Excessively
thick concrete (over 6”)
- Excessively
thick asphalt (over 2”)
CHANGES:
Any change or addition to the signed contract involving extra work
will only be done upon a written change order that has been signed
by both the homeowner and the salesman.
LAWN
DAMAGE:
B.A.S.S. takes necessary precautions to minimize damage to customer’s
lawns, however in the normal course of construction/installation,
some damage is inevitable. B.A.S.S. does not install sod for restoration,
only topsoil and grass seed, which is done at the completion of
the job.
PERMITS:
It is the responsibility of the homeowner to secure any permit or
license necessary for the performance of the specified work. B.A.S.S.
will provide the homeowner with a sketch of the work to be performed
once a contract has been negotiated. Usually the plat of survey
and a sketch is required to obtain a permit.
UTILITIES:
B.A.S.S. will call J.U.L.I.E. or Digger’s Hotline, non-profit organizations,
to come out and mark all buried public utility lines prior to job
start date. B.A.S.S. is not responsible for any privately buried
utilities or sprinkler lines.
